Hello fyeahrasputina followers! As you can see, I got to hang out with Rasputina at their show in NYC last night. It was so much fun! I’ll post a full report on the show later today.
My favorite band invited me to come backstage after their set last night. Sometimes tumblr is magic, like that. Everyone was incredibly nice! If you haven’t checked out Rasputina yet, please do. You’re in for the biggest treat.

Sending best wishes to everyone! Seriously, you’re all incredible, and I love each and every one of you. I’m not going to gush at you now, though. I’m saving that for the New Year’s post.
(Also, I just got an email from Melora Creager, involving a concert invitation, and music I’m not allowed to share with you, so merry flipping christmas to me! Jumps up and down a little bit.)

This is my very experimental rendition of Bach. I have been trying to work on exploring textures in Bachs music and using different phrasing. It is a work in progress.
