I spy some Penguin Teen titles up in there…
I voted, but that’s not the point. The thing I like most about this list is that it was compiled by suggestions and expert screening. Aka, I may be using this as my “to read” list for a long time to come. My to read list just got exponentially longer.
I thought the same thing! I copied over the whole list so I could add a bunch to my goodreads. because I don’t have enough books already on my to-read list!
Choosing only 10 out of this list was one of the hardest things I’ve done. But I shall def be looking into the others I haven’t read!
Ooo, it was incredibly difficult to choose only ten. My picks, alphabetically:
The Catcher in the Rye, by J.D. Salinger
Crown Duel, by Sherwood Smith
The Curse Workers (series), by Holly Black
Discworld/Tiffany Aching (series), by Terry Pratchett
Harry Potter (series), by J.K. Rowling
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galexy (series), by Douglas Adams
The Hobbit, by J.R.R. Tolkien
Howl’s Moving Castle, by Diana Wynne Jones
I Capture the Castle, by Dodie Smith
Weetzie Bat (series), by Francesca Lia Block
